Job Description:

sustainable practices. We are seeking an Operational EHS Specialist
who will be integral in implementing and overseeing our
environmental health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with
local, state, and federal regulations, and helping maintain our
reputation as a leader in environmental services. This role
involves comprehensive management of environmental, health, and
safety policies to mitigate risks and foster a culture of
continuous improvement in our operational processes. Develop,
implement, and oversee comprehensive environmental health and
safety programs. Conduct risk assessments, and site inspections to
identify potential environmental and safety hazards. Prepare and
maintain documentation and reports for regulatory compliance. Offer
training and guidance to staff on EHS policies and best practices.
Investigate accidents or environmental breaches and recommend
corrective actions. Stay updated on relevant environmental and
safety laws and regulations. Collaborate with management to develop
policies that reduce environmental impact and improve safety.
Coordinate with external environmental agencies and inspectors as
required. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and safety
laws. Proficient in conducting risk assessments and safety audits.
Ability to develop and implement EHS training programs. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and
problem-solving abilities. Capability to manage and maintain EHS
documentation and compliance records. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Safety
Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
preferred. OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response
(HAZWOPER) certification.
