Job Description & Requirements JOB SUMMARY : Supports the UPR Human Resources department by maintaining and processing information within computer-based programs and files in the following areas: employment, benefits, personnel records, payroll, training and development, team member services, performance management, global mobility, and employee relations. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the HR team with employment process for UPR client groups; both NBCU and UO paid. Responsible for creating/updating job descriptions; scheduling interviews; facilitating background and reference checks; completing offer letters for new hires and transfers; processing new hire paperwork; providing relocation support and coordinating on-boarding activities with office ambassador(s).
  • Assists HR team in maintaining various types of communication with applicants and Team Members as necessary.
  • Maintains current client organizational structure by completing Position Management Forms for PeopleSoft updates and Organizational Change Request (OCR) e-forms for SAP updates. Maintains client personnel data by completing Personnel Payroll Action (PPA) e-forms for PeopleSoft updates and Personnel Change Request (PCR) e-forms to update SAP.
  • Maintains existing reports, spreadsheets and databases specific for UPR Human Resources, such as, applicant tracking spreadsheets and hiring matrices. Assists with the creation and maintenance of necessary reports.
  • Provides general information to Team Members on policies and procedures, special events, and new initiatives on behalf of UPR Human Resources as directed.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. SCOPE : Supports the HR department by maintaining and processing information within computer-based programs and employment process for UPR client groups; both NBCU and UO paid. EDUCATION: High school degree or GED is required. Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in Human Resources, Psychology, Business or related field preferred. EXPERIENCE: One to three years Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
