Kelly Services is looking for an inventory clerk for a busy medical facility.Location:--The Villages, FLJob Title: Inventory ClerkPay rate $11.26/hour (non--negotiable)Mon - Friday 7:30am -4:00pmSummary: Complete and maintain the assigned supply needs of an entire nursing unit or departments and departments.--

• Must be able to prioritize in order to meet the supply needs of department operations.
• Serves as the primary interface between Clinical staff and procurement ensuring that all supplies are available for patient needs.
• Courteous and prompt when answering telephone--
• Provides support in the completion of physical annual inventory--
• Support and troubleshoot issues and problems. Identify all issues i.e. point of use hardware not working, etc. that negatively impact department operations; report those issues and follow up on resolutions--
• Set-up, clean, labels, organize and maintain supply locations as assigned.--
• Responsible for maintaining adequate par levels ensuring not to over stock bins. fluctuations in demand are present and on product conversions
• Maintains and provides a safe and therapeutic work environment for customers and others.
• Places all orders for Divisions/Departments as assigned.
• Obtains price quotes for material supplies and equipment.
• Report any issues to management and ensure issues get resolved
• Obtains clinically approved substitute for items that are on back order and notify staff. Works with Purchasing when substitutions are needed; follow up to ensure operations are not negatively impacted
• Processes or obtains product for overnight delivery from other institution
• Facilitates reprocessing through collections and distribution
• Conscious of supply expiration dates. Rotates stock. Stock is to be checked daily and rotated from back to front
• Handles credits and returns for supplies and equipment
• Empty boxes disposed out of warehouse
• Accurately and efficiently completes assigned duties
• Point of Use POU hardware/technology keeping in good appearance and accurate.
• Deliver supplies and equipment--EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONSEducation High School Diploma/GED Licensure/Certification/RegistrationValid Driver s License - This position is required to drive a company vehicle and must meet the requirements of the Vehicle Policy.
