• And So Much More!RESPONSIBILITIES of the Staffing Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
  • The Staffing Coordinator establishes staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistants
  • Works with human resources to advise them of staffing needs, terminations, and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employees
  • Interprets human resource policies for nursing staff and participates in in-service training, works with the DON to schedule training classes
  • The Staffing Coordinator assists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required
  • Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences, and recommends appropriate actionQUALIFICATIONS for the position of Staffing Coordinator: EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
    • Certified Nursing Assistant license preferred -
    • Must be strong in Excel and Word
    • Experience with scheduling software, i.e., Hosted Time or similar software preferred.
    • Knowledge of AHCA Regulations required
    • Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing requirements are met for the facilityParkside Health & Rehab Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
