Manufacturing background is preferred.The Human Resources Manager provides consultation and support to multiple business units, oversees the support, guidance, and development of human resources generalists. In addition, the Human Resources Manager establishes procedures to analyze trends, identify metrics, develop workforce plans to resolve issues and make a positive impact on business results.Primary Responsibilities--- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.--- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.--- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.--- Monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.--- Maintain a smooth onboarding process.--- Employee relations including investigations, disciplinary and termination process.--- Performance and wage reviews.--- Benefits.--- Workers Compensation, FMLA/STD, ADA.--- Recruitment / selection / retention.--- Report to management and provide decision support through HR analytics/metrics.--- Direct the company---s overall compensation structure; conduct industry-related job and salary surveys and analyze results; make recommendations regarding compensation to ensure market competitiveness.--- Develop, recommend, and interpret organizational policies and procedures; prepare and maintain Employee Handbooks and Policy Information Manuals; communicate policies and procedures and ensure compliance with the same.--- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.--- Nurture a positive working environment.Required Education and Experience--- 4-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Industrial Psychology, or related field OR a combination of education and relevant experience.--- A minimum of 7 years of experience in Human Resources with at least 2 of those years as an HR Manager.Required Qualifications--- PHR/SHRM-CP Certification.--- Demonstrable experience with Human Resource metrics.--- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.--- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.--- Experience with conflict resolution, disciplinary processes and workplace investigations.--- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects with multiple deadlines.--- Ability and willingness to develop and give presentations.--- In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.--- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including; Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams.AppleOne is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
