Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Florida invites
applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of
Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the areas of pediatric
ophthalmology and strabismus to expand our academic practice. There
is an immediate opportunity to engage in a busy tertiary clinical
practice in an established, longstanding department with a brand
new, state-of-the-art clinic and surgery center. In addition to

develop independent and collaborative research and innovative

experience. The College of Medicine has an active faculty

Requirements: Requirements include completion of an approved
residency program as well as postgraduate fellowship training in
pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. Board certification or
eligibility, and eligibility for licensure to practice medicine in
Florida are prerequisites. Preferred Qualifications:
Qualifications, in addition to clinical expertise, include a strong
commitment to teaching, resident training, and research as well as
participation in academic activities. Experience in pediatric
ophthalmology and strabismus is required. Incumbent will provide
medical and surgical services to pediatric patients within UF
Health facilities and affiliated locations. Special Instructions to
