Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Provide
specialized speech-language pathology services for a diverse
caseload of PreK through 5th-grade students in a school setting.
This part-time contract position offers 15 hours per week across 2
days, supporting an existing part-time SLP on staff. The role
focuses on early childhood and elementary school populations,
delivering targeted interventions to promote effective
communication skills in pediatric students. Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication
disorders among elementary school-aged children Develop and
implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students
needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to
monitor progress and adjust therapy strategies Maintain accurate
documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
Support, communicate, and coordinate with the part-time SLP
colleague to ensure continuity of care Qualifications: Valid
Florida Department of Health (FL DOH) License for Speech-Language
Pathology Experience working with pediatric populations,
particularly in early childhood and elementary education settings
Knowledge of speech-language developmental milestones and
evidenced-based intervention techniques Ability to work
collaboratively within a school environment Strong organizational
