HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound OB Technician to join our progressive Healthcare & Medical Services team. The role involves specialized work in Obstetrics, providing critical ultrasound imaging services that support maternal and fetal health. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in ultrasound technology with a specific focus on obstetrics, possess excellent patient care skills, and uphold the standards of safety and accuracy that are crucial in this sensitive domain. Perform ultrasound examinations in the obstetrics department to aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of fetal development. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining methodologies and addressing any concerns. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring all images are captured accurately and securely stored for further analysis. Collaborate with obstetricians and other medical staff to interpret ultrasound results, contributing to patient treatment plans. Follow all hospital protocols for health, safety, and privacy, maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Participate in continuous education to stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology and obstetric practices. Proficient in the use of obstetric ultrasound machinery and diagnostic techniques. Strong analytical skills to interpret ultrasound data accurately. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients and medical staff. Capability to handle sensitive or stressful situations with professionalism. Adeptness in maintaining patient confidentiality and following all healthcare regulations. Specialty certification in Obstetric and Gynecologic Sonography (preferred).
