Job Description:
HCA Florida North Florida Hospital seeks a dedicated Radiologic
Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our accomplished team. Leverage
your expertise in medical imaging to support our commitment to
providing excellent healthcare services. In our state-of-the-art
facility, you will operate a variety of equipment to produce
high-quality diagnostic images that assist healthcare professionals
in patient diagnosis and treatment. As part of our dynamic team,
you will make significant contributions to patient care while
enhancing your professional skills in a supportive and innovative
environment. Operate radiographic equipment for diagnostic purposes
following best practices in patient safety and industry standards.
Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to determine
necessary radiologic examinations for patients. Prepare patients
for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort
and safety at all times. Maintain accurate patient records and
adhere to confidentiality requirements. Implement and comply with
health and safety regulations concerning radiology. Regularly
inspect and perform needed maintenance on imaging equipment to
ensure it functions properly. Participate in continuing education
and training to remain current with the latest technologies and
practices in radiologic science. Proficiency in a variety of
diagnostic imaging techniques and equipment Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills Excellent patient management skills to
ensure comfort and safety Ability to work collaboratively in a
fast-paced medical environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance

Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT) Licensed to practice in the state of Florida
CPR certification required
