Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiac Catheterization Lab Location: Sanford, FL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,206 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Sanford, Florida, 32771! Job Title: Travel RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 9.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, one of the following (Techs: ARRT or RCIS Certification within 3 years of hire if not a Rad Technologist with ARRT) Must-Have: BLS and ACLS Advanced skills needed for EP circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring (two of these skills required) Description: We are committed to the care and improvement of human life. This facility is a 221-bed acute care hospital. It has a Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The hospital serves local communities and provides a full-service cardiovascular program. Services include open heart surgery, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac rehabilitation, and diagnostic services. Other specialized services include orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, and imaging services. Emergency care is available 24/7. The unit consists of 2 Cath labs and an EP holding area. Patient ratios are 1:1 and 2:1. Staff includes a director, charge RN, techs, and RNs. Type of equipment includes GE fluoroscopy, Mac Lab, Acist, Volcano, IVUS, Angiojet, and Penumbra. The documentation system is Mac Lab and Meditech. Cath lab schedules include 4-10 or 5-8 hour days with an on-call rotation. Floating to holding, EP lab, or other areas within the scope of practice may be required. Procedures performed include TAVR, Watchman, PCI, peripherals, Impella, and balloon pump. Required attire includes provided scrubs that follow the hospital's uniform dress code policy.
