Central FL Locum Tenens: Work FSEDs & Level 2 Trauma System
Sites Immediate Start We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine
Physician for a locum tenens position serving both Free-Standing
Emergency Departments (FSEDs) and the main hospital facility. This
opportunity is ideal for a physician eager to join a collaborative,
fast-paced team providing high-quality emergency care to the local
community. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive emergency
medical care to diverse patient populations Perform procedures
including Central Access, Arterial Line insertion, Lumbar Puncture,
Intubation, Pacing, and Orthopedic stabilization Collaborate
closely with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and other medical
professionals Provide coverage across both FSEDs and main hospital
sites as needed Schedule: 12-hour shifts: 7 AM 7 PM / 7 PM 7 AM
Optional 8-hour shifts available No on-call responsibilities
Qualifications: Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, or
Family/Internal Medicine with 3 years of FSED experience Proficient
in all emergency care procedures Eligible for emergency privileges
Facility Details: Ocala facility: Level II Trauma Center with 31
beds Common cases: Chest pain, abdominal pain, and moderate-acuity
emergencies Supported by Emergency Medicine Residency and APP
