Job Description:
The Gainesville, FL Veterans Affairs Medical Center is
recruiting a Pulmonary Critical Care (Interventional) physician to
provide inpatient and outpatient pulmonary consultative services.
You will perform the following procedures: bronchoscopy,
transbronchial biopsies; endobronchial ultrasound; robotic
bronchoscopy (ION); rigid bronchoscopy; tumor debulking, stenting,
cauterization; endobronchial valve placement; and percutaneous
tracheostomy. You will manage a wide variety of pulmonary diseases
including: chronic obstructive lung disease, interstitial lung
disease, asthma, sarcoidosis, lung cancer, pulmonary hypertension,
and sleep disordered breathing. Teaching of students, residents,
and fellows rotating through VA. Participate in the coverage of the
Medical Intensive Care Unit. Requires board certification in
Critical Care Medicine. Assistance with payment of outstanding
medical school loans up to $200K is available. We offer:
