Join our Baylor Program and work just 24 hours Friday to Monday and receive 30% more per hour!SUMMARY:Supervises the nursing personnel and the day-to-day nursing activities of the skilled nursing facility.JOB DUTIES:

• Coordinate and provide total nursing care for patients.
• Provides leadership by working cooperatively with nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing care.
• Assesses resident's condition and nursing needs, sets goals, prescribes appropriate nursing actions to meet those goals and the age-related, physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of the resident.
• Assigns nursing care to staff in accordance with the resident's needs.
• Assess and evaluate patient's response to care plan and prioritize and implement appropriate changes.
• Collaborate, assess, and coordinate discharge planning needs with other health care staff.QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid FL LPN license
  • 1+ years of education or experience in Long-Term Care preferred
  • Current CPR/BLS CertificationBAYLOR PLAN - POLICYPURPOSETo ensure the Baylor Plan is implemented in a uniform manner in applicable service locations.PROCESS - -
  • Baylor Plan hours begin at 2:45 p.m. on Friday and end at 7:15 a.m. on Monday.
  • Baylor Plan participants and the Administrator must have a signed and dated copy of the -Baylor Plan Understanding -form.
  • Each pay period, the payroll designee determines if Baylor Plan participants have met the terms of the Baylor Plan by working all scheduled hours.
  • Team members on the Baylor Plan are not permitted to work overtime hours except in emergency situations due to complications in calculating the appropriate overtime rate under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
  • In the event that a team member inadvertently works overtime, a member of Human Resources or Payroll should be consulted to ensure compliance with FLSA act when calculating overtime pay rates.
  • Baylor Plan participants are not eligible for any shift differentials.
  • The Company has the right to notify or discontinue the Baylor Plan for existing team members upon thirty days advance notice to participants.
