Meanwhile, you can rely on the resources of a global technology leader to back the kind of innovation that has characterized our historic breakthroughs. -We have an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to support Analog design, integration, and testing to Mil requirements. -The engineer will have the opportunity to support a variety of missiles related programs including Electro Optical targeting and navigation systems, ground and air launched missiles, communications and controls systems, and other programs. -In this mid-level role, the engineer will have the opportunity to provide their electrical engineering power knowledge for design, test, and integration for the system. The design will include requirements capture (DRS), design trades, and detailed design of make-from changes for reuse items. The work will include integration of the reuse electronics with minimal impact. -The engineer will have the opportunity to design electrical power systems to include conditioning, filtering, integration and test, circuit simulation, and defining requirements. -The engineer will have the opportunity to perform system power calculations, power distribution design and load analysis. -The engineer may have the opportunity to work with other power electrical assemblies including batteries, and networks with procurement support for all buy items. -The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and experience with power supplies design. -The engineer will have the opportunity to work on and collaborate with cross functional teams with other engineering disciplines and key suppliers. -The engineer will have the opportunity to mentor less experienced engineers. -The engineer will have the opportunity to attend industry conferences and to keep up-to-date on related industry best practices and technological advancements. -We offer a continuous learning environment with strong career growth and advancement opportunities. MFCE&T mfcvets Basic Qualifications: -Experience in Electrical Engineering with an interest in power supplies / power systems design is required. -A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience with the design of electrical power systems (conditioning, filtering, integration and test, circuit simulation, defining requirements) is required. -Experience with system power calculations, power distribution design and load analysis is required. -Experience with creation of electrical wiring and schematic drawings is required. -The ability to work in a manufacturing and laboratory environment is required. -Solid testing and troubleshooting skills are required. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. -Experience with MS Office suite is required. -Ability to obtain Secret Clearance is required. Desired Skills: -Previous experience with RF power systems would be a plus. -The ability to troubleshoot system failures and perform system failure analysis / power failure analysis is desired. -Knowledge of analog design and digital design principles is desired. -Prior experience supplier oversight would be a plus.
