looking to expand its social media management department by adding
a social media account manager!A successful Social Media Account
Manager will excel at the following:The social media account
manager plays a significant role in the success of our clients by
helping create social media posts, engage with the client's
customers, and monitor the success of our clients. The Social Media
Account Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and
monitoring multiple clients' Social Media strategies to increase
brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and increase sales.A
successful social media manager will help by providing fresh ideas
for social media content, be a strong copywriter, and enjoy the
thrill of helping brands grow utilizing social media.What the job
entails:Research- Research clients' competitors, industries,
trends, influencers, and media targets every day to identify
opportunities- Source and obtain approval for content from a
variety of sources, including user-generated content and third
party content- Stay on top of and share social media
trendsStrategy- Advise clients on overall social strategies,
Develop, implement, and manage brands' social media strategy.-
Develop and deliver ongoing SMM strategy documents to clients-
Evaluate, prioritize, and predict clients' needs and have a clear
understanding of what success means to them- Define the most
important social media KPIs.- Develop content and calendars for a
variety of social media platforms, including creative
campaignsCreative- Manage and oversee social media content.-
Develop and maintain a consistent tone and voice per client, per
channel- Write compelling copy for the social media posts.- Work
with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and
appealing.- Develop fresh ideas for new content.- Take advantage of
industry best practices and emerging trends and platforms, write
blogs, and contribute to our thought leadership.Project Management-
Proactively develop unique social strategies and manage campaigns
from A to Z- Have a clear understanding of client budgets and
deadlines and meet both regularly- Deliver thorough, detailed, and
relevant project management updates with clients and in team
meetings- Proficiency in using and discussing social media tools
including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram,
LinkedIn, TikTok, Sprout Social, and more- Schedule and post
content on Social Media for clients (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn,
YouTube).- Effectively manage social media campaigns for clients,
including community development, community engagement, content
development, ad development, and reporting and analyticsClient
Management and Reporting- Act as the main point of contact for your
clients- Responsible for scheduling and leading weekly/biweekly, as
well as monthly reporting calls with clients- Provide reporting to
clients on a monthly basis.- Regularly report and analyze the
performance of social campaigns, both organic and paidIntegration-
Manage multiple clients and effectively be the middleman between
your clients and the rest of the company- Work with other digital
marketing departments to identify opportunities for integration-
Leverage content marketing to support SEO, PPC, as well as social
media efforts- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product
Development teams.Qualifications:- 2+ years of relevant experience
social media experience working with multiple clients across
multiple social channels (Including, but not limited to: Facebook,
Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Youtube, Tiktok.)- Must be
proficient in social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube,
etc.)- Facebook Ads experience necessary.- Facebook Blueprint
Certification Desired- A highly organized professional with strong
follow-through in time management, prioritization, attention to
detail, and reliability- Excellent communication skills,
relationship-building skills, a genuine "people-person."-
Experience managing a client account, both specific to social
media, as well as a multi-channel client account- Experience and/or
interest in managing an internal team of channel experts- Graphic
design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite).- Agency experience is a plus-
Basic photography skills a plus.- Video editing experience is a
plus (Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects), but not mandatory-
Copywriting skills necessary.- Creative, excited, eager, teachable,
and enthusiastic!
