Classification Title: STU AST CLERICAL & ADMIN Job Description:
The Student Customer Service Representative within Housing and
Residence Life is responsible for: Serving as the initial point of
contact for current residents, families, and guests answering
incoming phone calls, responding to emails or assisting guests in
the housing office resolving any questions or concerns Representing
Housing & Residence Life at university wide events to promote the
on-campus living experience Providing tours of on-campus living
spaces to prospective residents, families, and visitors Assisting
prospective and current students, families and guests with
inquiries regarding different residential facilities, campus
resources, and various university locations, and services
Responding to inquiries and promote campus life and the UF student
experience Maintaining and update area procedures, records, and
materials Expected Salary: $14.00 per hour Minimum Requirements:
This position is open to all students who are eligible to work on
campus and must maintain a minimum 2.0 grade point average.
Registered students are employed on a part-time basis, up to 20
hours per week. Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of one year
experience with retail or customer service in professional office
setting Extensive knowledge of the University of Florida Strong
interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organizational
skills, including multitasking, time management, attention to
detail, and record keeping Ability to work in a fast-paced
environment and meet deadlines Demonstrate professionalism,
dependability, and ability to work as a member of a team Experience
with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel,
