At Concentrix, we are seeking a diligent Collections Representative to join our dynamic team in the Financial Services sector. In this role, you will uphold our commitment to excellence by managing overdue accounts and minimizing financial loss, aligning with our goals of enhancing customer engagement and boosting business performance. This position blends problem-solving skills with an assertive, yet compassionate, approach to customer management. Contacting customers to advise them of overdue accounts and payment schedules. Utilizing various skip tracing techniques to locate customers. Negotiating repayment plans that align with company policies while accommodating customer financial situations. Processing customer payments and maintaining thorough, accurate records of all collection activity. Collaborating with other departments to resolve billing disputes. Educating customers about their payment options and the implications of non-payment. Participating in departmental initiatives to improve collection procedures and reduce the debt portfolio. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to empathize with customers while maintaining a firm understanding of company policies. Proficient in Microsoft Office and any relevant Collections software. Understanding of collection laws, regulations, and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). Experience with financial data analysis and consumer credit reports. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification in collections such as Certified Receivables Compliance Professional (CRCP) is advantageous but not required.
