Job Description:
Job SummaryThe Accounting Clerk is responsible to assist with
the accounting of business transactions on a day-to-day,
month-to-month basis. He/she verifies, allocates and posts
transactions into proper journals and ensures transaction back-up
documents are properly maintained. The Accounting Clerk maintains
an adequate system of accounting records. The ideal Accounting
Clerk will have at least one year experience in a position of

vendor management and outsourcingMaintain an orderly accounting
system; and maintain control over accounting systems and chart of

receivableProcess bi-weekly payroll and process tax liabilities in
a timely and accurate fashionPrepare payroll quarterlies/year-end
W-2's and 1099'sAssist with employee benefits
additions/cancellationsComplete periodic bank reconciliations on a
regular basisMake debt payments on a timely basisIssue timely and
complete financial statementsRecommend benchmarks against which to
measure operations performanceCalculate and issue financial and
operating metrics; report variances from the budget sure
